Ok, so we we tested the Dove Canyon (sister to the Piper Glen - PG doesn't have a lounge but DC does) last night and we loved it!!  I don't even think we're going to wet test the Optima - we liked the fact that the PG is bigger than the Optima and that it has more jets (I know some of you will comment about that but it's the truth).  It was also less money than what we were quoted for the Optima (a little over 11K, no stereo).  We got the LED package upgrade, steps, hydralic cover lifter (no stereo) for $10,100.  There was also a high bar table with 4 stools that we liked and it matched the gray cabinet and our patio so he threw that in for an extra $100 when it was normally sold for $350.  So, we're happy....we'll be proud Piper Glen owners in about 4 weeks!

Most excellent. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for a successful delivery and start-up this time.
Good luck!

Congrats!!  Looks like a great tub.   Artesian was on my list of tubs to check out but there was no dealer in my area.   You're going to love it.   :D

I think you made the right choice bohms. I think you're prior experience may have been a blessing in disguise. Congrats and good luck with the PG. Let us know how you like it.

I hope you are just as happy with your Piper Glen as we are!!!!!

We got in the Piper Glen and "just knew" that this was the tub for us.  Our search stopped there.  We loved the tub.  Loved the dealer.  No need to look any further!

Congrats!!!! That is a very nice purchase. You won't be growing out of that tub anytime soon. Enjoy!!!  Tileman

Congrats!  How did the Artesian compare to the Marquis?  Dealer notwithstanding!! ;)

Another one in the Artesian "family". Back when I bought my tub Artesian was delivering earlier than 4 weeks, maybe it's the same.

What color ?

Wish we'd tried the Piper Glen, but as soon as my wife tried the Optima she knew it was The One so the search ended...  Enjoy yours!

wow that Artesian sounds like a great brand.....

i went to their web site and it looks like their spas are super quiet.

good luck and post some pics once it is in place.

The Platinum Class Artesian Spa:

The flagship of the Platinum Class by Artesian, it's no wonder the Piper Glen was awarded the Consumers Digest "Best Buy" Award in the Premium Category of spas.

Loaded with 57 high-volume, sophisticated massage jets and four full-therapy seats, the Artesian Piper Glen certainly offers the ultimate spa experience.

There is no comparison to a Platinum Class Artesian Spa. With such sophistication and functionality, such incredible pump-per-seat performance, and such refinement in design, the Platinum Class is the only spa for the truly discerning buyer of luxury goods.

That's actually the Dove Canyon that we wet tested in.  We're getting the Piper Glen which is the "sister" to the Dove Canyon....we didn't want the lounger.
We're getting the gray cabinet and Sterling Marble shell.
The dealer actually did say that they have been getting them in 3 weeks, but he's still telling us 4 weeks to be on the safe side.
Gores - we actually really like the Artesian better than the Marquis.  I suppose we could have avoided our whole bad experience if we just went to the Artesian dealer the first time around.  Hands down we would have picked the Piper Glen over the Destiny.  We like the individual controls for each seat, the foot jets, the fact that it's bigger, more jets all around and just feel like we're getting more for our money.  So when all is said and done we're just kicking ourselves that we didn't go to Artesian the first time around!!  A valuable lesson learned.

Bohms we seem to have similar taste, as I also ordered plaitnum with silverwood cabinetry. 8-)
