I purchased this spa just after I starting to look at spas. I read all the online reviews, lots of brocures, videos etc. Stopped by a HS dealer on the way home from work and they had this one at $2k off as a "demo" price. It was on display at a landscaping/nursery place but never used. I put a deposit on it right away so I wouldnt loose it.
We checked out the entire Watkins line, Sundance, and looked at a few others. This one tested the best for us. After wet testing I confirmed the order.
So far it's been very easy to use. There is plenty of power with ALL the jets on. If you need more power you'll also need handrails to hold yourself in place.
This is a nice large spa with room to stretch out. I'm 6'1" and don't have any problems. I felt cramped in the smaller tubs. My 5'1" friend didn't have any problems fitting in any seat. She had a drowning problem in one of the Calderas we tested.

We have used our Hot Spring Grandee almost every day for a week now. It has worked perfectly. I am detail oriented and have not found one flaw in the craftsmanship of the spa. I was hesitant about selecting a shiny finish rather than the granite looks, but the pearl color with the color wheel is fantastic.
People comment on the Hot Spring tubs' lack of jet power. I would disagree - after sitting in front of any of the jets in the grandee for five minutes, I'm downwardly adjusting the jet's power.
Our Hot Spring dealer provided exceptional service, and tolerated us when our family came in to wet test the unit on three separate ocassions. The delivery of the unit was flawless.
The only drawbacks I noted on the design of the spa are (1) the CD ozonator needs to be completely replaced every 2-3 years, costing $300 each time; and (2) the Moto-massage does not operate properly unless the diverter valve is in one of two positions, meaning at least one other jet has to be off.
So far I am very happy with our choice, and would highly recommend the Hot Spring Grandee spa.

I have had the spa about a month now and have REALLY enjoyed having it even in 110 degree heat here in AZ.
The dealer was awesome and very accomodating to my schedule and the should be if I am spending 8K!!! They were one of only 2 dealers who acted like they wanted to help me and not just out for the $ which I was planning on spending anyway.
The jets are in great positions for me (disabled and have very particular pain locations). I also love the steps (also seats) inside the spa that help me get into and out of the spa. The jets are not super strong, but are just right. I couldn't imagine what they would be like if the were stronger for more than 10 minutes.
I can stretch out and still have room for a few other people in with me.
Very excellent expreience. I don't like to give 100% but since there isn't a 9.5 out of 10 I have to give a 5.
