I've been a spa owner for 10 years. Got rid of a 9 year old Cal Spa. Researched extensively (wet & web tested Marquis, Master, & HotSpring.) Olympic Hot Tub in Seattle area was awesome to work with. I've had the spa 90 days now, and it's amazing. The filter pump is SILENT, and runs 24x7. The ozone & filtration systems work flawlessly. We use it daily. Water stays crystal clear with minor chemical adds. Just shock after you use, and add 1 TSP (yes, teaspoon) of chlorine/week. The CD ozone works great. Looked at HotSprings Vanguard & Envoy, but wanted something all the ski friends could drop by & use. Heartily recommend!

We tested emerald, jucuzi, beachcomber, vita,D1 and other hotspring tubs. With chemicals, cover, cradleII lifter, steps, nature 2 & Tax we paid $8500.00.

I have owned a Hot Springs Grandee for almost 4yrs. It was nice at first, it was a hot tub and those are always fun, I hated as often as I was keeping up with the water even though my salesman told me I wouldn't have to if I bought the upgraded ozone. I eventually got a leak, well it was warrantied so not a big deal right? No not right. They made me drain my tub, they came out, they lifted it onto its side and chizzeled through the bottom trying to find the leak, it costed me 75 dollars and after a few hours he put it down and I filled it again...I STILL HAD A LEAK, I had to drain it again and two weeks later he came out and did the same thing, and so on and so on for the last year I have owned the hot tub. I went to another dealer to trade the tub in and he told me because Hot Springs foam to support the structure of the spa they can't remove pannels or find leaks very well and once it starts leaking you better just get something new, thanks Hot Springs that was a waste of 6000

I purchased this spa just after I starting to look at spas. I read all the online reviews, lots of brocures, videos etc. Stopped by a HS dealer on the way home from work and they had this one at $2k off as a "demo" price. It was on display at a landscaping/nursery place but never used. I put a deposit on it right away so I wouldnt loose it.
We checked out the entire Watkins line, Sundance, and looked at a few others. This one tested the best for us. After wet testing I confirmed the order.
So far it's been very easy to use. There is plenty of power with ALL the jets on. If you need more power you'll also need handrails to hold yourself in place.
This is a nice large spa with room to stretch out. I'm 6'1" and don't have any problems. I felt cramped in the smaller tubs. My 5'1" friend didn't have any problems fitting in any seat. She had a drowning problem in one of the Calderas we tested.

We have used our Hot Spring Grandee almost every day for a week now. It has worked perfectly. I am detail oriented and have not found one flaw in the craftsmanship of the spa. I was hesitant about selecting a shiny finish rather than the granite looks, but the pearl color with the color wheel is fantastic.
People comment on the Hot Spring tubs' lack of jet power. I would disagree - after sitting in front of any of the jets in the grandee for five minutes, I'm downwardly adjusting the jet's power.
Our Hot Spring dealer provided exceptional service, and tolerated us when our family came in to wet test the unit on three separate ocassions. The delivery of the unit was flawless.
The only drawbacks I noted on the design of the spa are (1) the CD ozonator needs to be completely replaced every 2-3 years, costing $300 each time; and (2) the Moto-massage does not operate properly unless the diverter valve is in one of two positions, meaning at least one other jet has to be off.
So far I am very happy with our choice, and would highly recommend the Hot Spring Grandee spa.
