We've had our spa for about a 1 1/2 years and we would buy the same spa again, the PDC spa comes with an internal thermal blanket and last winter with the spa outdoors snow did not melt around the spa base but the operating cost was fairly high ($50 TO $70 / month additional ), this spring we decided to remove the walls and add , blue board insulation, 1 1/2 inches thick, I think that will give us the insulation (lower operating cost) we're looking for. it's a very high quality spa, it's one of the only spas that is self supporting without a need for a support sructure. I was concerned about maintenance ( leaks ) so a fully foamed spa was not considered. Overall we are very satisfied with our PDC Spa
