After having this spa (2005 model) for almost a year now, I thought I should rate this spa. First, I'd like to say it is an excellent spa for people who are looking for a theraputic spa. I have found that with my fitness regime, it has been a great addition to my home gym experience. After working out hard with the weights, theres nothing better than to plop into the hottub and get a great hydro-massage. I did switch from the in-line bromine spa "frog" system to di-chlor after a few months because my wife complained of the smell as well as itching problems....I never had any problem with either of them, but, you must please the spouse, right?. Anyway, useing the dichlor has been easy, and economical to boot. All in all, this is a first rate spa that has been a boost for fitness as well as "bonding" with the family. I am very satisfied with its performance and its functionality.

Pros:
strong jets, nice looking, functional, specifically designed for therapy, easy to maintain.
Cons:
only one sitting area can realistically be used for therapy at a time. Bromine in line frog system wasn't as easy to keep levels at a consistant rate as advertised. |

The salespeople (many related to owner) didn't have a clue on the design or function of this spa. Be cautious of salespeople who also sell grills, furniture, pool tables, etc. - mine had never been in a spa. My experience started horrible because it was delivered with the slice vale turned half off. Took two months of yelling, crying, and begging until finally an email to Marquis prompted the service man (owner's son) to really check it out. Despite the still bad taste in my mouth from the experience (I didn't receive so much as an apology after the long nightmare) I enjoy the spa immensely. It has fabulous jet action and because I purchased it for medical therapy, jet action is what I am after. But when others join me in my 3 seater (two people are realistic) I have to share the power and it is a huge difference. Fortunately for me I'm in it alone most of the time because my boyfriend only goes in when he gets a stiff neck or to keep me company on occasion. I find the neck jets are annoying but the boyfriend likes them. When he gets in I take the power on the leg jets and he is happy with the neck jets. So I recommend highly for medical therapy (for one) but do your own research, DO NOT trust the salespeople, wet-test, wet-test, wet-test and make sure you get a cover lift.

Pros:
Excellent jet action for one person - great shape - easy to clean - heater keeps it hot much longer than you could imagine on cold nights.
Cons:
bad dealer - powerful jets mean the rest of the jets stay idle |
