It's Coming in the morning!
« on: March 23, 2007, 06:03:24 pm »
Happy puppy am I.  My brand spanking, sparkling new HS Aria is scheduled to arrive in the morning.  Even as I type, we're draining our our D1 and counting the minutes.  So tonight, I'm sure dreams of dancing water plumes will fill my head. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Awesome.  Keep us posted on the Auto-fresh thingee.  I love mine on my Jetsetter.  Customers I've talked to love theirs.  Haven't heard any negatives yet. ;)

Congrats Cowboy. The Aria looks like a great spa. Why are you getting rid of the D1? I'm assuming it's an older model?

OK...we are all waiting for an update.
Is it here?  Is it filled?  Is it hot?

I have a question about the AutoFresh for you HS dealers out there: what happens if you make a typographical error?

After you use the test strips, you enter the results into the controller. If you accidentally enter a wrong number - like a 13 for your pH instead of a 7- you could theoretically end up with an acid bath, right? I assume there's some sort of safety on this system, correct?

WOWWWW,
My first first post from a new spa owner on WHAT'STHEBESTHOTTUB.

We did deliver BxCowboy's spa the other morning. We arrived and found his neighbor helping BIGTIME. He had a backhoe with the older D1 spa in its grasp coming down off of the 8' platform. Thanks Bx. Unfortunately we weren't able to utilize the hoe to put the new Aria up there, but we were prepared.

It was funny, the other day I was talking to Bx and he say's..." Are you Hottub.pool_boy on those spa sites?"

Thanks Bx, we'll be out to see you shortly.

To Mr. D.P., water balance is still handled the traditional way. It's not automatic. It's the dosing of sanitizer, shock and spa conditioner-type product that's automatic. You're testing only for sanitizer level and inputting only the sanitizer level. In any Baquinide system, those three components are very closely affected by one another. That's where the auto dosing of the product takes the human error out and human nature of "more is better."
