Does anyone believe in using a Pre-Filter
« on: February 24, 2007, 06:23:31 pm »
Does anyone use a Pre-Filter when re-filling your spa? Even if your water is decent out of the tap, is the silver content significant enough to make a difference? Does the amount of silver really help to jump start the sanitation process in conjunction with an N2 cartridge?

I've used the HS Pre-Filter for years since I've got well water.
In fact, that's my picture using it with the new tub!

Yeah, Morgan Fairchild......that's the ticket!

Gombo, Every EverFresh Water care system we sell with a spa gets the prefilter. It's beneficial. It does restrict the hose pressure= longer intial fill time.

I cary them but sell very few. The ones I sell always go to folks with well water. Specifically, smelly well water - sulfur or other odors. Also, gritty water, rusty or cloudy water.

BTW - as a man, I have often wondered why most of the male models shave their chests? Notice this man in the HS brochure did not shave. I think he looks like a normal, healthy speciman of a male, I would be proud to have as a son-in-law. The ones with shiny bodies always make me a bit nervous.

Is that just a strange part of me, or do others wonder about it?

From the picture, I think it's possible that he clips his chest hair with a clipper.
If so, where does that fit into the equation?   :)

I don't think it is a strange part of you...or at least I hope not because it is the first thing I noticed also.  I completely agree with your observations.

If you guys were Italian and Lebonese, you might reconsider. :)
The first time I shaved my face, I was in 6th grade.

If we have to shave pretty much everywhere, the least they can do is shave the chest. I appreciate people in their natural state to a point......bot I dont like hairy guys.  Now, this guy is nit too bad- more lightly haired, but any more hair than that and EW.

I'm so hairless I don't think my one chest hair would show up in a picture...well if it did you'd be way too close!

I'd need a Weed Whacker but I'm afraid it would hurt.

I'm Italian and I don't have a hairy chest. Unfortunately whatever hair I do have is mostly grey anyway.

My oldest seems to be hairier than I was at his age I keep joking with him he's not going to be able to wear T's when he gets older due to back hair... he doesn't find it too funny.

The one time I forgot to use the pre-filter, I had to clean my filters more often for the first month or so after refilling.
