Summer soakin'

Does anyone use their tub as a mini-pool in the summer?
What I mean is do you keep the water at pool like temps and maybe even soak up some sun on a raft. 8-)

Being that we frequently have similar weather. Even when it gets into the 80's it still cools down at night.  We keep the tub usually at 101 during the summer and the 10-11pm soaks still feel great. At that temp, if the temps are higher, a few minutes with the cover off and it still cools down fast.

How were your local meteorologists weather predictions?
Are you going to be able to make it into work tommarow?
If not I got some pretty good POD's I'd like to post.

Pools up here are a waste IMO.  You're lucky to get two good months of use out of it, then it sits for 10 months taking up space.  Besides, no matter where you are in Michigan, you're no more than 6 miles from a body of water!

I agree - with the climate I have, a hot tub is a far better investment, and even in the middle of July the temps here often get into the high 60s at 10-11 which feels great for soaking.  I just turn the tub down to around 100 and enjoy the stars.  Similar story with the number of lakes here as well, I have about 10 beaches to choose from within 30 minutes.
