Saving a single post not the whole thread.

As I read 'threads' there will be one or two individual posts that have information I want to keep.  Is there a way to save an individual post or do I have to save the whole 'thread' in 'My Favorites'? :-/

Imagine trying to find a single paragraph from, 'The Real Spa Specialist' thread.

I know of no way of getting directly to that specific post, though, the best you can do is to narrow it down to the particular page for that post. Large threads run on multiple posts (as you pointed out - 'The Real Spa Specialist' - currently has 73 pages!).

You want to bookmark or set a favorite (same thing - depends on whether you're using Firefox or Internet Explorer) while you are looking at the specific post you're interested in saving. Once bookmarked or added to Favorites you can always return to that page and scroll down until you find the specific post.

Why not just start a Word or other DP program and copy and paste and keep it on you hard drive.

I have a few of those from Vermonter or when it's something I want to keep. You can even make it a running document, always adding to it as needed.

Just a thought ...

The idea of a running document that could be cut/copied/pasted/organized etc is probably what I need.
