reading in the hot tub

Just curious...
How many of you read in the hot tub?

In the old days I used to read the morning paper with my cup of coffee in the spa.

Now I read the paper online.  So, now I read books or magazines.

Any other hot tub readers out there? :-?

No reading- I'd be too worried about getting the paper all wet.  Plus we usually soak in the dark, not so much during daylight.

I do the podcast thing.  Nothing like PTI in the hottub in teh evening.  And it is a perfect 24 minutes.

No reading here, either.....well, not in the tub, anyhow...I'm not sure how I'd go about keeping the book dry while trying to stay seated..and with a deep tub, the book would have to be up pretty high....

I am a NRA member and your membership comes with your choice of one of their magazines.  I receive the American Hunter magazine, and I'll bring that in with me when I tub in the mornings alone.  I wouldn't read it otherwise, so it's a bonus for me, especially as I do hunt deer, so it's fun to dream about getting "the BIG one".  I always pick up some good tips from experienced hunters.

The steam/warmth of the water, keep my hands warm enough to complete an article, and as it is only a magazine, it doesn't matter if it gets a bit wet!

Sure, I'll read in the tub. Usually during the summer when I have the temp cranked way down, I'll relax with a book and the jets off.  I find reading the paper kind of tough though,  I have a hard time keeping it dry....

This young lady asked to sit in the spa at the 2006 Great Texas Balloon Race.  She was from Kenya but now lives in Dallas.  I asked her how she liked living in Texas, she said it was nice but seemed dangerous compared to living in Kenya because of the crime.  I replied "Yes, criminals can be dangerous, but at least in Texas you don't have to worry about a lion dragging you out of the hot tub."  She conceded that point.
