tub looks great!! Just curious why you dint hide the cable?   I think that dark cabinet looks amazing.
Any ideas on how to hide the cable?  Hot Spring was the only tub manufacturer that I encountered that said that I couldn't bring the electrical up through the bottom of the tub.  My contractor who built the deck wanted to run it underground and up through the pavers and right into the bottom of the tub, but HS said it would void the warranty.

Now, it runs from the box, underground along the side of the house, then up out of the ground at the edge of the deck.

who the hell is your dealer?

I'm sorry, yellow water,  sticky skin, buy the N2 stick to help reduce dichlor use, and now, electrical cables can't be run under the pad?

You could have run the wire under the pavers and up at the front of the cabinet.  Has nothing to do with warranty.  Drilling into the spa anywhere might have impacted warranty.

The itching is probably pH related.

It looks like interlocking, just pull up a section bury wire and then put bricks back in.  It is a little extra work, but in my opinion it will look that much better.

Looks like you live in a nice area and home. I'm especially envious of all the green I see at this time of year. I assume you're in the Houston area based on the fact you still have growing plants and leaves on your trees.  Not the case in the Dallas according to a friend of mine who lives there.
Happy soaking and quit peeing in your spa. Maybe the yellow will then go away!

Any ideas on how to hide a wire when the tub is on a concrete pad?  I hate looking at it.  My husband said he would figure something out...

Tricky, but he could cut open a large enough hole in the concret where he wants the cable to come up, then snake the cable under the pad via pouding a pipe throught the dirt, under the concrete. Pull the cable up, connect and patch the hole.

This assumes on the side that he's feeding the cable under the pad, theres enough room to dig a section on the side to get a pipe and pound it trhough. Other wise, I think you're looking at cutting a trough in the concrete.

Looks good, I never knew that the Hotspring base was open like that.  Do you guys ever have problems with wood being in direct contact with the ground?

Congratulations Spa morph!

Hot Springs dealers- Do all your tubs come w/o some sort of abs base? I thought all "high end spas had them standard". I guess not.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, my 15 year old Prodigy sat on a treated wood platform for 13 years.  When we loaded it up to move it recently, the bottom of the tub (and the platform) was like brand new.

A lot of high end spas come with an abs base.  Only "Super High End" come with the base like the HotSpring... ;D

that dolly looks familiar. couldnt't live without it. Nice spa, nice placement. We're delivering our first 2007 grandee tomorrow, with light dusting of snow on the ground, and temps in the middle teens less the wind chill. Guess winter is here in one day.

Very nice Morph. What's new for 07 besides the Bella Fountain? I'm suprised the electrican would run the cable like that. It seems like you could trip over it very easily. Congrats on the new Grandee. You're going to love it.
2005 Hot Spring Envoy still going strong. Million-Mile Club....
