Lookin' out my backdoor

My bride and I were heading out to the spa and were greeted by this scene. We wanted our own private getaway that we didn't have to fly to. I guess it worked out.

Very pretty!
I love your landscaping--the unique pine and the uplighting. All of my stuff is WAY in the back of the yard and there is certainly nothing worth highlighting.
In my next life, I am building berms, planting them with cool "feature" plants, trees (no dirty ones) and shrubs, having a ton of electrical outlets and lighting, building sleeping quarters on the top level of my barn/shed with a craft area on the lower level, fabulous paver paths everywhere...the dream goes on.....

that is so amazing. Do you back on to open land? You should send that to the company so they can use it in their brochures. That is beautiful!!

Bosco, we don't have that much open land, but that view is unobstructed. Just trees.

Now thats what I'm talking about! Its all about setting the mood. You can get a woman to do just about anything if the moods right. Thats justification alone to spend the big bucks on aesthetics

Oh, it was a joke???
just kidding. Once my wife suprised me with a cooked meal when I finished work and wow. My dad always tells me to eat the whole thing with out complaining. I really dont mind cooking. Did I mention, that she made hot dogs that night.
They were so good, but frozen solid in the middle.
