I am not sure I like the way my new 2006 optima head rests are attached. I have had a couple that easily become disconnected from the white plastic post. Am I the only one with this problem? Are there any tricks to get the head rests back onto the post? I have ruined one of the posts trying to get the rest back on. Any suggestions? Also, where would I get a new post for the one that I have ruined? Thanks!

The trick is not to tighten too much. �Screw them in just enough to get them snug, otherwise you just push the head through the head rest. �They will stay just fine for you.

You can get new nylon screws from your dealer.

take a drill and put an extra screw in it.

I think the right solution is to give it a god wack to get those things in
