need help on Mfg of tub
« on: November 01, 2006, 01:17:53 am »
I am getting ready to buy a Coral Spa.  I can not seem to find any info on this hot tub.
it was made in 1994. it is model #1500.

Can any one help me out with info as to who made this and where I might find info on it.
Thanks  :)

Are you sure of the name?

Curious, how much are they asking for a 16 year old tub?

yes, 100% sure on the name.  I can find filters for it just cant find who made the thing.

I can get it for $400.00 it works.(Just want to make sure I can get parts for it should it come the day.)  It is very nice been under a cover since new.

it was made in 94 so it is only 12 years old :)

Sounds like a good deal to me. There are many companys out there that build tubs or have them built for them and resell them. More important than who makes it is what will retrofit into it. Inlet and outlet piping can be changed easiely, digital controls can be added easiely, if theres no leaks and it runs get it going if there are any problems we can steer you to several places to buy parts. Is it currently air controlled? Does it have a thermostat inside or outside the equipment area?

It is how ever blowing breakers.  I think it to be the heater.  I found out that coral spas is out of buss.  :(  but thats ok.  I called around and I think I can have it up and running by Friday.  Pick it up tomorrow.  anybody want to loan there back ?? HAHA
altho I will be able to use it Friday for the soar back.

Thanks for the input from you all.  Math and spelling can be over looked   :)
