Welcome to our forum.
I first remove the inner pillow, then bend the piece that attaches to the tub and insert one side at a time. You shouldn't have to "push like hell" or give yourself a hernia installing the pillows. Once the outside piece is attached, I then insert the inside pillow piece.
You guys are going to hate me for this, but Arctic doesn't use mechanical-type fasteners on their pillows. Rather, they are formed in such a way that they slide over the molded shell on the back of the seats and held securely in place. So there is nothing to wear out or unfasten. I thought that was also a good idea and another reason why I bought Arctic (no KoolAid comments please).
QuoteActually, I think that makes sense. I've seen it and expect it to become more common.Gee spatech, you and I agree on something. Are we friends again?

In re-reading this thread, a funny thought came to mind: "Where is your hand? Right here. Where's your other hand? Between two pillows. THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!!!!!!" Man that's a great movie.
