I upload my pics to http://photobucket.com/

It then automatically gives you 3 choices for your pic...  URL, Tag, Img.  I copy and paste the code from IMG and it voila I have shared my pic.

I am going to try one.

Cannot see your pic.  Another trick is to go to a post that contains pics.  Click on the quote button to check how the pic was loaded.

I used a photo from a googlepages web site. You right click on a photo on the web site and select properties, then copy the web address from the properties menu and paste it between the image insert codes that come up when you click the Insert Image icon.

Find a picture you want to post (it has to be hosted on a website, will not work if it is on your hard drive). Right click on the picture and select PROPERTIES from the drop down menu. Copy the URL of the picture and then click on the little "image" button , then paste the URL between the img tags.

PS. Some websites do not allow you to link to their images as it uses their bandwidth.
PSS. If you need to post a picture fron your hard drive, it first needs to be hosted on the web, try PhotoBucket. There are other similar image hosting websites.

If you don't have an online album, you can get a free service from Google to post your photos online.  Just go to Google and download Picasa and it will organize the photos on your computer and you can select photos you want to post in a free online album and click one button and it will set it up for you.  Picasa is also a photo editor. Here is a link.

here's what I did:

Register a domain name or 10
buy a server
put the server in a datacenter that has a direct connection to the internet backbone
install linux & apache on the server
configure apache
upload your pics
click the little picture icon when you are posting
type in the URL of your pic

Several weeks and several thousand $$$ later, you can post a pic in the forums.

I guess you could just use photobucket.com, but where's the fun in that? :)

P.S.:  I didn't really buy a server and rent a spot in a datacenter, I rent a server from linode.com, $40 a month.  And I didn't do it just to post photos here in the forums, I run about 10 websites off of it.   [smiley=tongue.gif]
