Caldara Kauai Paradise vs. HS Jetsetter

These two have similar setup, 2 seats 1 lounger.  Both made by Watkins right?  Is one higher-end quality than the other.  Should the price be similar as well?

I really can't comment on the prices, but yes, both are made by Watkins. Hotsprings is thier flagship hot tub line, but I have no reason to believe Caldera is a less quality product. Chas, I belive sells both and should be able to comment if they are priced in the same range, and the nuiances between the two tubs.

The major diffences in these tubs appear to be

1)The Jetsetter offers the moto massag, a total of 14 jets driven by a 1.6 HP pump.
2) Caldera offers 27 jets, and a 2hp pump.
3) filtration. Caldera offers  a 50 sf pleated filter, while the Jetsetter has 90 sf and "no by pass" filtration.

Wet test and take the one the fits you best. (Assuming there is no major swing in $$)

The Kauai should be around $500 cheaper than the Jetsetter, but that could vary from store to store.  The warranties are the same with the exception of the cabinet.  Caldera has a 3-year and HS a 5-year.  Ozone is an option on the Kauai and standard on the HS.  LED lighting is standard on HS and option on Caldera.

We have a Jetsetter and love it.  It's a great little tub.  Both are quality products, try them both and pick one that fits you best.  :)

Sounds like if you added the lights and O3 option onto the Calderia, the price would almost be the same? Hmmmm.

Have to also remember that the HS has the Bubba Keg chemical doo-hickey thing-a-ma-bob optional now too.

Test them both, decide which is more comfortable and buy that one.  The quality is the same.  Caldera is as premium as HSS.

The Caldera does not have an included ozone, but can be added easily enough.  The light is LED, just not a color changing LED.  That, too can be added.

Pretty much equals - just find the one that fits you better.

Wet test and let your backside decide. We sell them for exactly the same price. The jets are quite different, the quality is about the same.
