Bought an Optima -- is this a good price?

Bought a new Sundance Optima today (it's my birthday, what could be better? :)).  Paid $10,000 out the door including sales tax, and that includes the tub, steps, cover lifter, 6 months of chemicals, and a CD ozonator.  Would you say that's a great, fair, or ripoff price????

Happy Birthday!!  :D

I would have to say since it's new, it's a very good price. Especially since it includes all that stuff. You will love it, I'm sure! What colors did you get?

Congrats!  After 4 months of looking we just FINALLY purchased Optima yesterday.  In upstate NY we paid $8,800 $9,500 w/ tax.  No ozone.  Included cover, lifter, chems (no idea how many months), delivery & installation.   Think ozone was a couple hundred $$ so we're in the same ballpark.   Our dealer was not open to much negotiation.    What color did you get and when do you take delivery?   We went w/ platinum/coastal gray to blend w/ house & deck (house is light gray and deck is composite that's faded to a light silvery gray w/ white vinyl railings).   Only downside is our dealer was out out stock so we have to wait 3 weeks.  :(

Glad to hear we were in the ballpark for pricing.  Our sales guy was really cool and didn't try too hard to get a premium price.  His original number was somewhere around $11k, we told him it was too high, he came back with $10.4k, we told him $10k and he said deal...

Color-wise it's the birchwood (light tan) base and platinum (white) shell.  Neutral, and matches our tan stucco/cement patio nicely.  He told us we could have it anywhere in the next 3-5 weeks.  Can't wait!!!

You did fine.  You'll forget what you paid about 13 seconds into your first soak.
Congrats.
