and some of us northerners do, too...and it's nothing that's shown in any of the "racy" videos I've seen...

T_L, we'll make you an honorary southerner.  I'm a Damned Yankee myself.  We'll have some 'head' and beer if you come down.  I'll make some Frogmore stew, too. ;)

Here's a little update:

A longtime member of this forum is being flown down to Shreveport tomorrow to spend the next 3 days interviewing for this job.  We are extremely excited about the possibility of him becoming a part of the team and he will be given the royal treatment during his time here.

I'm looking forward to meeting him in person.  We're taking him to Jack Binion's Steakhouse over in Shreveport tomorrow night and then we'll probably hit a barbecue joint in Longview or Tyler on Saturday.

I think we've found our man.

So Mike isn't going to worry about delivering the rest of the spas and getting the truck back to Colorado?  ;D

Hope the interview works out for both of you!

Term - I am wrapping up a 8 week gig here in Dallas.  I will probably spend a night in Shreveport (to donate money to the casino's) around the weekend of the 21st.  Would love to see your shop as well as to meet you (and your newest employee).  I'll look you up if the opportunity presents itself.

The new store in Shreveport:

and our new Shreveport store manager.....hymbaw!

We took Tom out to Superior Steakhouse:

Introduced him to Shiner Bock Beer (he was speechless):

And I indulged in a 24 oz porterhouse cooked medium rare:

Thanks to all who replied.  Congratulations to Tom and we all look forward to working with him!

ndbunka, give me a holler when you're heading this way and I'll roll out the red carpet for you.

Tom is ultra conservative, a second amendment rights supporter, a beer lover, and bald headed.  Those were the only job requirements.
