DreamMaker hot tubs

I went into a caldera place this weekend and that had a 'very inexpensive' one piece hot tub called a "DreamMaker Spa'... Since I am at least 7-8 months out from my new home being ready for a new spa, I am considering this one (Dreammaker) for a year .. Supposedly, according to the dealership (Caldera).. they are his top selling model.... THere is no heater (friction = 'hot stick') and other then a 110 pump with 11 jets, a waterfall, 1.8 lb closed cell full foam etc.  etc.. just a basic simple tub... I'm tryin to figure if it is worth the $$$ (only about 2,500) for a spa that I can use for a year and either keep 'in the house' as a 'second spa) with my 'real' spa' on my deck outside.  

Has anyone heard or own one?  your opinion?

IMHO, I'd call around to the local dealers, ask if they've got refurbished tubs for sale. You'd probably come up with a similar price, and get more tub...then you could use that as a selling point on your current house......plus, you'd have a tub with a real heater...
just my $.02, of course.....

why waste $2500 on this Dream maker?


I would buy the spa you want  now.

For $2500, you could hook up the "real spa" have it on one of those plastic pads", in a year when yo move, unhook it, have it proffesionaly moved and reinstalled at your new house, and hooked up and still save several hundred dollars in your pocket.

What Drewstar said!! We charge $250-$400 to move a spa. Get the one you want now, move it later.
