Don't know.

Add ph -.

Usually it takes less ph +or- to make adjustaments with alk perfect.

Need to know more. Sanitizer, regiment, etc.

Takes me weeks to get the Ph to drop.  I just add some Ph- every few days or so.  On my recent refill, the intial rading was low Ph.  I just waited a few hours and sure enough off the chart high.

Follow your ABC's.

Make sure your ALK is right before your PH.

Most times if have your ALK right, your PH will follow.

When you shock, use unbuffered MPS.  It's pH is between 3-4 and it will not only shock but also have the added benefit of helping to bring pH down.  Make sure not to use buffered MPS as it's pH approaches 6.8 or so.
We, the unwilling, led by the unqualified, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful...
