I had a customer who added Metal Gon, Bright and Clear, and Defender at the same time. Caused a thick goo which was tough to get off.

The labels all clearly state that you are NOT supposed to do this, but I thought his mistake might be something we could all learn from

Cheers.

You run into the darndest things.  Neglecting to change the N2 cartridge since years, doing chemistry experiments, it just amazes me.  I wonder if this is partly a California thing, which attracts all kinds, or if other dealers see similar crazy stuff.

I never said that everyone on the West Coast is whacky.  I lived on that side for over 15 years myself, so I would never say something like that.  OTOH, you have to admit California, in particular, attracts a lot of whacky people.  If you doubt me go to Venice and walk the boardwalk.

Now that I think of it, the whackos that I met out there usually haled from such staid places as the Midwest.  Among the most respectable people by contrast were those born in foreign countries.

Truth to tell, much the same phenomenon is true here in South Florida.

Chas's stories usually just amaze me.  Maybe there is an inverse relationship between the prevailing warmth of the climate and common sense for the average resident.

Regards,

Bill

Brings back memories of a young innocent Brooke on vacation from OR at the ripe young age of 7 with her hippy parents... getting hear ears pierced in the back of an El Camino at Venice Beach.  Hmm, and we wonder why I can't wear earings.   ::)

I think those signs were the hardest thing to get used to with moving to CA.  I don't notice them now, 4 years later... but man, they stood out just like the smog did the first year or so...(which I'm also accustomed to and even remember to call 'haze' occasionally.)

Well, having transplanted from Pennsylvania to Southern California -- there's no going back for me.

My everloving wife has never completely forgiven me for moving away from San Diego.  She loves West Palm Beach so well that she lives in the Boston area and only visits here occassionally.
