Installed the new spa today
« on: March 10, 2006, 12:04:01 am »
The dealer delivered our new Dimension One Diplomat today.  We used one of the new Thermoplastic pads, rather than concrete.  The plastic pads are slick.  I just finished wiring it and it's heating. It took awhile to wire it, due to the rain.  We had a ton of rain today.  I didn't want to open the power panel and get everything wet.

Should be in hot water soon.
If I could just chew through these restraints...

Did the pad come from the spa dealer? Any particular brand name? I noted one from a dealer that had a slope to it that might have worked for my tilted patio problem called PortaShim although it actually costs more than the guy coming out to create a level area is charging!

Not sure what to make of that...

I've noticed that the most posts from folks are between the decision to purchase, the actual purchase and then the wait for delivery!  Once the tub is up and running - posts drop off....

I guess once we are in "hot water" and all is well - the message board is 'old news'.   This makes the time and efforts put in by the 'regulars' even more important.  They 'nurture' the new  - over and over again!

Thanks from one of the nurtured! :)
