I'm confused!

I went to a recent home show that had 12 dealers in it.  I'm in the market for a hot tub.  My question is, "What is the difference between Coleman Spas and Elite Spas?"  And which one is a premium brand over the other, because they both claim they are the flagship brand and not the lower cost brand.

Ok I don't know much about elite spas but Coleman Spas are made by MAXX spas in AZ. They are a  very good spa (I know I have one LOL)

But.......I think wet testing a hot tub is ESSENTIAL in buying a spa!! Hope this helps. Sorry I couldn't give you any info on Elite spas

After going to the last industry show and seeing the huge 2 story display that coleman had and the tiny little display that elite had, It would apear to me that elite is more like the "red headed step child." Also the wholesale price for coleman is considerably higher than elite. It all comes down to opion, but in mine, Coleman is the "flagship" of the maxx company

I would have to agree with Micah, I too saw the difference at the aqua show between the two booths.  It is mho but I feel coleman is definitely the more premium of the two.  look at their warranties and wet test and go with what fits your needs best.

When I was first looking, I talked to a dealer who was going to carry Maax tubs. He compared them to Coleman like Everyday is to Marquis, or  Tiger River is to Hot Springs. I don't remember the warranty comparison but I was pretty impressed with the information that he sent me. The dealer lost his business location and then wasn't able to keep things going and he went out of business. It was a shame because he was such a nice honest guy, I really wanted to do business with him.

Thanks for all information.  I also felt the Coleman was the more"flagship" of the two.  So i went and bought a Coleman 471.  I felt the Elite guy was just lying and just trying to get the quick sale. Once again thank you
