HS will replace the heater for any reason including improper water but water chemistry is fairly easy.
The PH is easy along with calcium and sanitizer once you get a handle on it and the heater elements don't self destruct on you with a little batch of "unbalanced" water.
Either tub will serve you well, but ultimately you need to feel 100% comfortable with your decision.
