There's a place on-line called "thirsty towels" I believe.
They seem to be a high end robe place.

I purchased a robe from LLBean.com. They are nice, thick and reasonably priced.

Finding a qualitly robe that is right for you and your family is always a tough find. The robe that I found to be the best for me and my family is the "Cypress" bath and spa robe. It is very comfortable, durable and stylish. I have also turned severval peaple onto them and they have liked them very much. I hope this helps. Good luck in your search for the perfect robe!

Check your nearet Arctic Spa Dealer, as Arctic has a very heavy duty robe with a hood. I can ship one if you like. They cost about $80.

Pretty much any dealer can get you a spa robe. What seperates the Arctic spa robe from other spa manufactures spa robes?

Sounds really nice! I do know the Cypress brand offers "Micro Chenille" technology on some of there robes. Basically, the benefit of that is it will feel better(softer than cashmere) and will last longer, so it will save you time and money.

Sam's club had terry robes for a limited time. They are heavy and thick. They came in white. blue and pink. Their web site only has white. The cost was about $30.

I just bought 2 nice robes from Linens 'N Things. I think they were $40 a piece. BUT...they had some very nice, high quality, high-end robes like the ones you find in upscale hotels also. They had about 4 different styles that ranged in price from $80-$140.
Linens 'N Things had the micro-chenile also.

I have several spa robes that I keep in my room leading out to the tub. 1 for me and 1 for my wife, plus 2 clean ones are hanging there for quests.
My and my wife's robe were gifts from the Mandaly bay hotel in Vegas and are about 4 years old and have held up very, very well.
The other two robes my folks bought for me last year. They appeared to be a very high quality, and are very thick, but I have noticed that after just 1 year, they are getting a bit thread bare in the back. (From the washing?)
If you can, get the best ones you can afford, (or perhaps get the cheapest and buy alot of them).

grahamtasia-
The Arctic Spa Robe's are very thick. They also have a hood, which is nice for cold weather (along with keeping the falling snow off your head as your walking back into your house).
After looking at cypress robes. The Arctic Robe looks most like the Terry Velour Hood. With only looking at a picture I can't tell which one is thicker.

LL Bean has some "fleece" robes for women and men.
The nice thing about LL Bean is everything you buy from them is 100% guranteed satisfcation. You can return anything at any time. This is not to say that everything last for ever, but if you ever felt you did not get your money's worth from thier products, they take it back no questions asked.
Guarentee is based on your satisfaction, not leagth of time.
