The BIG 1000
« on: November 30, 2005, 05:22:58 pm »
Though I've been here since 2001 and my post count is most likely closer to the 3000 - 4000 range, I'm celebrating none the less! I did close my registration at one point and that's why it doesn't reflect the true number. I came clean Bill!! I’ve always blamed it on him! ;)

I've always enjoyed coming here and though I may not post as often (there's more people now that are funnier than me is why) ;) it's still a great source for every level of knowledge.

Obviously, I've got to know many of you quite well and even had the honor of meeting a few. Mendo has always had my respect as not only a knowledgeable person in our industry, but also a real kind and respectful man. Same can be said for Stuart, Spatech, HTM, ZZ, Doc, Lori (my favorite lady friend here), Chas and so many others. I shouldn't really list any names because there's so many great people on here that I don't want to slight anyone. You know who you are!! ;D

Thanks for offering your friendship, your knowledge and wisdom and sharing so openly for all of us to gain a better understanding of the hot tub industry. It's an honor to be in the same industry as you as well as communicate with owners of this product here and learn from you all.

One dinner and a beer and you can have your post count back.  I stopped in the local Master/Hydropool dealer the other day, they only carry your swim spas, so I guess you won't be headed this way anytime soon.  I also value the regulars and new people who join in.

Steve, what a well written acknowledgement.  Very nice to read a post expressing those sentiments.

I appreciate the invalueable contribution you make to this forum.

Congrats on your "promotion".

Bill,
We all know Steve has been here a long time and has had FAR more than 1000 posts to this point. He not only is full of info and helpful to others but he also knows how to take a joke (the 3 most qualities for a spa professional poster in my book).

Why not toss him another 1000 posts to bring him up to 2000 to make up for some of the lost ones? Heck, I'll donate 100 of my own!

Our new branding is now complete and will be formally unveiled in Florida. For those of you going, let me know your thoughts good & bad about what you see.

We've introduced one new model which I expect to be in the top 3 for worldwide sales for us plus some really interesting changes.
...
I've said more than I should. I go now... :-X

Steve

When I saw the title of this topic, I was thinking about your new model, the new BIG Hot tub model "1000" would be bigger than the 800 but smaller than the 1038.  ;D

Intersting timing with this question. I was just sent the complete package of the details on all 06 models and the changes for this year. We will start our transition into 2006 models this month...
Steve

You wrote it november 1st.  You are probably allowed to give us more info now?

Congratulation and thank you for your longtime participation on this forum.  :)

If you were to deduct all the posts that ended up in "Beating a Dead Horse" from a member's total, Steve's count is probably about right. ;) Congrats on the milestone, Steve! :D
