Ok. so maybe I gave some "poor" advice.

To make up for it, heres a few suggestions: maybe subscribe to a premium šmovie channel so she has something to watch on TV while you are soaking? Or bring her a treat (grab a sundae or a peice of chocolate, or whatever she is craving) so she can enjoy herself while you are out in the tub, or you could always grab some of the movies she's always wanted to see, but you hate, and she can watch one in peace while you are soaking?

Now your talkin!

Boscoe;

Talk to a doctor. A smart one will know and understand that there is a relationship between temperature and time that will dictate the level of risk for your wife.

Beleive it or not, your wife can go in the hot tub at 104. She can only go in for a few minutes (less than 5). At 99 degrees, she can stay in the tub for an unlimited amount of time. I know you saifd that is not an option and I agree. But there is middle ground. She is likely safe in 100 degrees for upwards of 15 minutes. At 101 for XX minutes. At 102 for XX-a minutes. ETC.

Consult your doctor. A doctor that says a pregnant person cannot go in a hot tub period, dosen't know what he is talking about.

I did a quick google on  this subject and the first 2 links were contridictory.

The first article said to set the water to less, than 100 espically for the first trimester.  It also said, most tubs are set to 110-120 degrees!!!!!

http://pregnancytoday.com/experts/m-hottub.htm

The second article said not to go in the hot tub at all espically in the first tri-mester

???

Talk to a doctor. Err on the side of caution.

My wife used the spa when she was pregnant and our daughter turned out OK.

It's really no big deal.

Thank you bosco, she is daddy's little troll.  We think she may need braces when she's older (she's only 7) and a razor.  I'm really dreading the day she starts dating.  I hate to see the kind of boys she'll bring home.

I'd be really scared, girls typically date/marry guys like their dad.   ;D
