HS Grandee price
« on: October 31, 2005, 07:52:20 pm »
Hi. I'm rolling ahead with my purchase decision. We are leaning towards a Hot Springs Grandee.
This is the pricing I got quoted;
Grandee    $8860
Remote control $499
Spa Audio   $1695
Clarion Light kit  $289
Single wide steps  $299
Double wide steps  $399
Cover Cradle lifter $399
Ozone system, Breaker box, 2 silver ion bullets, 1 start up chemicals, 5 lb chlorine, 5 lb Renew, Delivery alll included.
Total is $12,500.
Does this seem reasonable? Seemed maybe like I'm getting the Grandee at a good price, but all the extras seem to be at full price?

My comparison is the Dimension One Californian which is coming in at $10,106 with fewer options (no remote or light system).

Thanks!

That's about what we paid for ours (minus Spaudio and remote).  Looking back, the tub is so great I would have paid double that!

Good luck in your shopping!

Bear bath,

I had posted earlier that I have just received my grandee today and, although we've had a small snafu, I am confident that all will be well tomorrow.  It is a beautiful tub and I can't wait to sit in it.

I got the grandee with delivery over 60 miles away, start up chemicals, gfci box as well as filing tub/prep and making wire connections at motherboard for $8500 plus tax.  I got the cover cradle lifter for $289.  I ran out of money before i could buy all the stereo stuff and ozone.

hope that helps.

That's $1190 less than we charge.  Sounds like a good deal!  Good luck. :)

It seems like you're getting everything but the Partridge in the Pear Tree. I'd ask them to come to your house after it is set up and give you a free in-home orientation since you're getting the whole enchilada.
220, 221, whatever it takes!

It seem to me that the partridge was part of one of the options...

Seriously, I did ask for everything. In the end, looks like I will delete the clarion light option. Just didn't seem like value. Also, I almost dropped my teeth to find out that two sets of steps are like $598. That seems pretty expensive!

I went back to them and they are adjusting the quote. I did get the line that the HS factory is closing down, so better get this on order right away!

Thanks for the advice!

That was a wise choice about the Clarion light system, I couldn't agree more.

The Everwood steps are expensive.  We charge $400 for a double step.  If you buy them with the spa, we drop it to $200.
