HS Jetsetter
« on: September 21, 2005, 03:47:32 pm »
My in-laws have a HS Jetsetter that has been sitting for over three years.  I told them I would get it running again.

(A)  How should I clean the shell (products?)?

(B)  What should I do to the filter?

(C)  Is there a common leak after a prolonged period of non-use?

(D)  Is there any electrical problem I should anticipate?

Thanks in advance

(A) Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works great!  No chemicals needed.

(B) Buy a new one.

(C) If there is a leak, it will probably be a check valve.  Should be no other problem areas.

(D) Make sure GFCI is in good shape.  Otherwise, it should run like new.
