Out of Iraq
« on: December 05, 2006, 09:12:55 pm »
For those of you who have been here a year you might remember my nephew arrived in Baghdad last Christmas day .  I've just gotten word he is on his way accross the Atlantic and will be in the US by morning.

Oh, in the spring his parents will have a used Sundance in place.

Should be Christmas day.  He still has a year to serve back at Ft Hood, will see him again in July when he gets married.

Ditto.

It is always interesting to hear about the war effort from the soldiers perspective, if you get to talk to him about it. Should he be in the area for any length of time, wings and beer are on me.

That's wonderful news! I'm truly happy for you and your family. :) It makes all other presents on Christmas just that much more caddie. Please let him read all these posts(if he gets a chance) so he knows how truly thankful we all are for his service.

Yes good for him, and you.

Does he feel like he made the right decision by joining the military?
