I will say this calmly in the hope of not starting a flame war, knowing that Wisoki will rectify the situation, but in the hope that this thread is not deleted so that others note the repeated attempts at inflation by Cal Spa dealers(?) he has had to deal with.

Please note that on

7/8 - soon after a number of rating inflation so-called reviews were removed from this board a review of a glorious review of a Cal Spa Hawaiian appeared. I was suspicious but held my tongue (fingers?) as one review by a dealer is against guidelines but tolerable. (hey he might have one at home and qualify).

This review was posted by DON CRJA4@EARTHLINK.NET) of eden prairie MN.

7/13 - a review (with syntax and grammer similar to the deleted reviews) was posted by Darin Underwood (sprtsnvt@aol.com) of Indianapolis, IN

now on 7/18 a supplementary review is posted by TIM (CRJA4@EARTHLINK.NET) of eden prairie MN

Do you think TIM and DON know each other given that they live in the same town and share an email address?

Why is it that Cal Spa dealers go to such great lengths to inflate their ratings???

Excuse me maybe I do not understand your point. The email addresses posted in my message are openly posted on the review cited and so therefore released by the original posters.

Please let me know if I have misunderstood your point.

As to why this is not being done as an IM: This has been a recurring situation and it is my hope that by complaining calmly not only will the issue be resolved by the moderator but that the poster will be publically embarrassed into not repeating his efforts to inflate yet again.

Policing of this continued activity takes my time and I resent the continued efforts of unscupulous Cal Spa dealers to try to mute my opinion as stated in my review (and as repeated by others) with advertising puffery.

If their product can not stand on its own let it die.

Cal Spas are different than Caldera right? Caldera has a Hawaiian model also.

It is true that Caldera and Cal Spas are not related, are made by different companies.

I do think they might be cousins from the same Cal family ....whose family roots trace back to small plumbing village in Calcutta India, ....

Though some hold to the belief that they were created by the now-famous Frenchman Mssr. Spaaah, who was born without arms or legs. He was know by his friends as "Bob."

He later shortened his name to "Chas."

Yup.

I'll verify that the reviews, which were posted at least a couple of days apart, come from different IP addresses that match the ISP in the email and the location specificed.

Note, two out of three of the Raven reviews used bogus email addresses. �(One wasn't even a real domain name)
