Why does the site not allow us to upload pictures straight from our post?

Is it a bandwidth, money issue?

I know more people would post pictures if it was easier and this would enhance this site even more.

Disk space more than bandwidth. Plus this way the site owners do not have to take responsibility/liability for pictures that are references of images posted elsewhere.

OMG...that is so funny!! My cat (Cappy) also does that. He gets in our kitchen sink. He will only drink water out of the faucet. We have to cup our hands and he drinks out of them.
