Arctic Fox Prices?
« on: June 23, 2005, 08:12:33 am »
After visiting this form for months now, I've finally registered.  I had been looking for a smaller tub and had looked a quite a few different models from different manufacturers.  I expect to take delivery of my new Arctic Fox next week.  I negotiated a price of $7,000.00, tax included, for the base model with cover lifter and GFCI.  I've wanted a hot tub for years now and I'll finally have it now  :)  Any opinions on this tub and the fairness of this price would be much appreciated.  I live just north of Toronto.

Cool looking tub.  We have had several discussions of 2-4 person tubs recently, but I hadn't heard of this one till you mentioned it.

I'll leave price judgements to others, but being the first to mention this model, many of us will enjoy hearing your opinions once you have it.

hey good choice.  My friend just bought the arctic fox, I guess you have the prestige model.  7000 is what I could get it for down here as well for him.  I live in Hamilton.

My friend bought the fox signature series, two pumps and northern lighting package, floor, cover, lifter, chemicals, GFI, seven foot cedar steps for 9000can.

I have wet tested the arctic fox as well.  I really enjoy it.  It is a deep tub 38 1/4inch.  Two deep therapy seats and a really comfortable lounger.

I will suggest you spend the extra now and you wont regret it later. Go to the signature series with 24 jets and two pumps.  In a little 5x7 tub 24 jets is awsome.

I purchased the arctic tundra signature and expect delivery mid July.  You wont regret the tub it has a great warranty and anyone that owns one will tell you that the service is amazing.

Welcome to the forum, you have lots to learn so read up.

The spa is being delivered and set up on Tues, 5 Jul.  Yes it is the prestige model.  The price was CDN$ 6,542.00 + tax = $7,000.00.  I've built a base of 6" of limestone screenings, compacted, levelled and framed with mini pressure treated ties.  The tub will be abutted up against the deck and I will have a 12" step over to get into the tub from the deck.  I will post a photo when completed.
I would be interested in hearing opinions/prices paid from anyone who may have purchased one of these tubs.

called my local dealer and two other arctic dealers in the area to see what I could get your tub and extras for.  7000 right on target.  Good price and seems to be fair price here in ontario.

The first thing I noticed was the acrylic hangs over the edge of the cabinet. You can stick a finger in there.  what about bugs??  I hope I can get my arctic soon.

Uhhhh yeah. ::)

Speaking of the cabinet and Arctic...you should see the thermal imaging pictures I saw yesterday of a 2 year old  Arctic in the winter. I sure hope these guys selling them as THERMALLY CLOSED spas get a chance to see these... Very interesting stuff!

Are you saying that bugs CAN'T get into an Arctic spa? I see "lookin4" has watched The Wizard Of Oz too many times and is either "lookin4" the courage to post his BS even though we know better, or "lookin4" a brain to make it sound believeable... ;)

Do these poeple come here on purpose to make Arctic look bad? ???

get em people....

Steve, although that sounds really good, Thermal imaging of a spa cabinet in the winter is going to look the same across all manufactures. There is no way you would get the sensitivity needed to contrast spa to spa with a thermal imaging gun.

All spa's are going to project heat comparied to the snow bank they are sitting in.  You may see reds in different areas?

I hope you guys don't use thermal imaging as a sales tool?
