TURN OFFs
                 - Being called an idiot by a salesperson.
                 - Being told that this is the best there is.
                 - Dealer not open when they supposed to be.
                 - Dealer not presenting their product properly.
                 - Having a 3rd party do service and have no other way to get service.
                 - Having a salesperson not realize when to not talk inappropriately.

Turn ONs
             - Family run business, although smaller but seemed to care more.
             - Dealer who is knowledgeable about their product.
             - A good feeling from a dealer that I am being treated like a person and not a piece of meat.

I always get a kick out of salesmen/dealers who are dressed in a dress shirt, pants and tie and sneakers. It's usually a kid in his late teens or early 20's. Beyond that, I like a dealer who is more into people skills than sales skills. That requires the ability to read people and relate to them. Professionalism, common courtesy and common sense can go a long way.

Turn on's:

- well laid out floor to view product.
- well informed sales staff about the product they sell
- well informed sales staff about other brands
- non agressive sales staff
- getting acknowledged when I enter and the sales staff determining my comfort level on wether I need assistance at that moment in time or later.

Sales staff  is the front line to retail, with product right behind it so verrrryyyyyy important to have these two well in hand but sales staff is ultra in my mind.

Turn off's:

- agressive sales staff
- sales staff that will stick their head out of the door of their office and yell out "the prices to our tubs is on those sheet pined to the wall"
- dirty showroom

but most of all I really hate sales staff that hit on my wife in my presence. At 39 she comes in at 5'4" 106lbs. She still turns heads and good for her. She is a bit of a flirt but man it drives me out of my mind when sales staff come on to her or blatently 'checks' her out.

unless she was a sales staff  ::) :o ;D :D ;)
