The second picture is Chas's way of highjacking the thread for HS.::)

It's not a Marquis...  :P

I did not think that second one was a Marquis because it looks kind of cheap. ;D

Here is a Question and Answer we got from Marquis

Q: What’s so special about the Epic?
A: It is a hydrotherapy giant. It provides the ultimate hydrotherapy experience and can literally massage every part of your body. It has a hydrotherapy pillar where you can work on whatever body part you want. The seating has been designed to offer maximum hydrotherapy benefits.
The Epic has 5 levels of operational controls per side. That’s 25 distinct combinations. You can truly tailor the system to how you want it.

Q: Is there really a need for this type of spa?
A: We definitely think that there is a market. This is a unit that will answer all the needs that bathers didn’t know they had. Once they see this spa, they’ll realize they want it. The therapy, coupled with the control, make it stand out from other spas.

Q: What are your sales goals for the Epic?
A: We are hoping the Epic will account for nine percent of our annual sales.

Q: When can I order it?
A: You can order it starting March 14.

Q: What are the dimensions of the Epic?
A: It’s 90” by 90” by 35.5”. The interior depth is 34”.

Q: How many seating positions does it have?
A: It can comfortably seat six people.

Q: How many jets does it have?
A: It has 57 jets.

Q: What kind of jets does it have?
A: It has 16 HK16s, six HK8s and 35 HK40 jets.

Q: What’s so special about the Marquis jets?
A: Due to the size of our jets, we have an advantage in placement as compared to larger jets. The size gives us flexibility. The size of the jets allows us to place them where they make sense – the competition has to place them where they fit and not where they really ought to go.
We also provide an enormous amount of water in a small package. Most jets do 10-12 gallons per minute. Our HK40s do 40 gallons per minute. They provide an excellent flow and an excellent feel.

Q: How many pumps does the Epic have?
A: It has two MP160 pumps.

Q: What’s the maximum flow rate?
A: The maximum flow rate is 320 GPM

Q: What’s the power performance like?
A: The Epic has more power than any other Marquis spa and it has the ability to tailor the amount of power and overall flow to the different zones. We have increased the power per jet so this spa really offers a gutsy power performance.

Q: What about the seating?
A: The Epic is a non-lounger, offering open seating. The seating is multi-level and a combination of reclined and upright. It seats six people comfortably.
It has an Adirondack chair with complete support all the way to the floor. It features therapy for the feet, calves, tights, back and neck and it is semi-reclined.
It also has a deep therapy seat with 15 jets, a cool down seat, a mid-level seat and two soak seats. One of the soak seats is more reclined with HK8 jets and the other one, by the Waterfall, is more upright.

Q: What about the hydrotherapy pillar. How does that work?
A: The hydrotherapy pillar is like an interactive work station. You can move around and work on whatever body part you want. It gives you the option to truly pinpoint an area and get to areas that you typically cannot get to in a seating position.

Q: Will the Epic have features that are consistent with the Marquis line or will it be different?
A: The Epic will have features consistent with Marquis 2-pump spas.

Stuart,

Did you notice the water fall .....it appears to be different from the 05 water features....I wonder will this be a retro fit to the other 05 water features...

That adirondack chair looks very similar to the bio-form recliners in the D-1 Sarena bay.  It is a nice looking spa i must say.
