Small tub advice appreciated!

Hi I am interested in buying a new hot tub....

The hot tub is for my roof top deck, so the hot tub shouldn't be very big.  But because I don't want a big hot tub will I loose the quality?  My favorite hot tub was the round beachcomber, but I was told that it is entry level and to not take the risk of using it on a roof top.

Am I wrong in thinking that I don't want too many jets will I regret my decision later?

Does anyone have some suggestions on the smaller models?

By the way I live in Canada...so cold weather is a factor too!

I think you would not go wrong with a Hot Springs Jetsetter.  I have an 11 year old Hot Springs tub outside in Mass that although is having one of it's first problems ever it is very economical to run so would be fine for canadian winters.

I am not a dealer just a very satisfied customer.

Size is an issue, most hot tubs seem to fall within the weight restrictions.

Softub has 2, 4, and 6 person tubs.

They're heating costs are quite low and they are quite inexpensive. However, you would have to have a 120V outlet available on your roof.

The dimensions are 59, 71, & 78 inches. Add another foot, foot and a half with the Hydromate (heater/pump) attached and there you go.

I wet tested a Hot springs Jetsetter and it is pretty amazing as far as jets and comfort. its tiny, just big enough for one person, maybe two. also Caldera has one called the " Kaui" that is pretty sweet as well.....

that sounds pretty cool to put a hot tub on a roof, do you have a view off it?

what a chance to plug your brand.... .....A nice 1 or 2 person spa is the hide away from Marquis...12 jets....standard 110 outlet plug in.....requires only a 30' standard door opening ...

I agree with Meno.The 212 by marquis is a great little spa,also the 415 from marquis every day line is really nice,it seats four,has 15 jets, and like the 212 is also a 110 spa.

Wow thanks for the advice....even though some of it MAY be a bit biased?? I will check out the product...does any of these brands have a round tub?  I just think that the round ones look cool.. especially for a roof top deck! but I haven't found one that is of high quality....hmmm bit of a dilema.

I forgot to mention that I am already getting the builder to put a 220 V on the roof so power is not an issue.
