Hot Spring Dual Moto
« on: February 06, 2005, 10:30:31 am »
My husband and I recently purchased a 2005 Hot Spring Vanguard.  It will not be delivered for a few more weeks.  We wet tested the 2004 Vanguard which did not have the dual moto massage.  If you have a 2005 Hot Spring model with the dual moto, please let me know what you think.  Thanks!

I will be choosing between the 04 Grandee or the 05 Vanguard within the next two days. I wet tested both at length last night but the Vanguard was an 04.

I'm sure you will love it! Out of all the jets I have ever felt the moto massage I think was the best. A double could only be twice as good.

Where are you located and what was the price?

I recently put a new Envoy on our floor - running. The dual moto is really a great idea. Simply and effective.

The Vanguard, which will also come with the new 'Moto XP' will still be an EE model with the same pumps as the Grandee.

I posted otherwise - and have corrected my error. Sorry...

BTW - the 'Moto XP,' which is what I understand they are going to start calling the Dual Moto is really incredible. If you were at all squeamish about a wet test, get over it and sit in front of one of these!! Or hire somebody to do it for you, whatever....

I just received a HS Envoy (2005) with dual Moto's. I wet tested the single Moto and opted to wait for the Duals.  But I am really amazed at the massaging power of the dual moto's. The jets run up and down the muscles beside your spine. It is Absolutley the best seat in the Spa!!!! You will love it!!!

Thanks for the feedback!
Drober asked what we paid and where we are located.  We are in Ohio and paid $8,500 out the door.  The price for our 2005 Pearl Vanguard spa included the Freshwater III, cover, Cover Cradle with the two gas springs, GFCI box, start up chemicals, delivery, set-up, and tax.  The MSRP for the 2005 Vanguard in Pearl is $8,995 without any additional accessories.
We could have purchased a 2004 Vanguard for less, but we decided to spend the extra money to get the dual moto massage and extra pump.
Good luck with whatever decision that you make!

I have recruited some Ohioans for this forum.  I can't comment on their intelligence level though.  LOL!

Is there anyone else that has been able to try out the dual moto massage?  Thanks again for the feedback.

I have a 2005 Envoy with the Dual Motomessage and it is quite effective.  For me personally the Dual Moto is the best feature in the spa.  I will also offer that the Single Moto never really did much for me.  I like a forceful jet system and this new Dual set-up is nothing if not forceful.  Highly recommended.

Regards,

Bill

How does the dual Moto work?  Is it two single Moto's side by side?
