Problems with new tub

I had my tiger river siberian delivered on friday and had it hooked up and running by 5pm that day. The tub is still only 89 degrees, and it seems to only heat up when the jets are on. If the jets are not on the tub will only heat to 83. I am in west texas and the temp has ranged from freezing to 60 degrees so im not sure if that would be slowing it down. Anyone have any ideas if theres something wrong or im just being impatient. If there is something wrong i have access to amp meters and volt meters to do some diagnosing. On top of every thing there also appears to be a leak. Thanks for yalls help.

I can't help with the leak question, but the Siberian is a huge tub and takes longer than 6 hours to warm up. We got nervous with our first refill during the November refill becuase it took such a long time, overnight and then some ( we had to work, so we don't know the exact time). Our biggest elect  bills have been for the two months when we filled or refilled the tub.  New water is a beautiful thing!

The pumps on would not be a good idea for elect costs, if you have an ozone system, then you have some circulation. Good luck and let us know if it warms up.

I do have the ozone system, still 89 and going on 36 hours. Guess im just impatient. When it was 70 degrees me and my roommate hopped in wearing some waders. man im a redneck.

Something doesn't sound right.  Have you talked to your dealer?  We just refilled our Optima recently and the water was 50 degrees out of the hose and it was up to 101 in about 8 hours.

Haven't talked to the dealer because he had to go out of town after he did the install. They will be back on monday and open so hopefully we can figure something out by then.  Temp raised to 90 after an hour with the jets running, turned jets off and will check back in an hour to see if there has been any progress.

Does your tub have any sort of economy setting....or sleep setting....if so...this might be your problem

Definitely call the dealer. When I fill my 425 gallon tub in winter, the water is usually around 50 out of the tap and 18 hours is the max to get to 102.

There aren't any error messages showing, and im pretty sure there is no enonomy mode. Already left a message with the dealer. My roommate paid for the electrical hook-up on the tub and found the cheapest price that he could, and after he finished hookin it up he said he did it wrong at first then remembered how the spa delivery guy told him to hook it up.

I have a 400 gallon Marquis Euphoria and from tap around 50 to 102. It heats up 5 dergees per hour.

It takes about 10.5 hours.

Reseting the breaker solves many little "glitch" problems. Electonics are electronics and sometimes powering down and restarting helps. Works on my computer, printer etc.

It sounds like you had an airlock.  This happens about 75% of the time on a new fill-up.  When you flipped the breakers, that probably primed the circ pump.  You should be good to go now.

Up to 97 degrees, the thermal cut off also tripped. If all goes well should be tubbin in an hour. Thanks for the help.

I also have tiger river siberian . it took about 10 hours to heat up to 1o2 also had to reset heater works fine now good luck
