Anybody here like these guys?  They're going to be the headliners at the Alley Fest on June 3rd.  We always set up about 5 wet spas out in the street for the event.  Last year, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas was the main event.  Previous year was Eddie Money and year before was .38 Special.  Eddie Money was shaking the hell out of that tambourine and sounded pretty good for a long-haired old goat.

Well come on down to Texas!  I've got free passes, our booth is set up right by the beer tent, and all you need is a bathing suit.

Assuming it's the same, or mostly the same members as the had during their heyday, I'd love to hear them perform.

Beats the crap outa Starship- which I'd also love to have seen but when all the "core" members were still in the band, like Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, Marty Balin, Papa John Creech, etc...

Too bad I can't find a reason to swing on down.

How does that booth work out 4u?

Works out great!  It's a gathering point for friends and customers, we get free beer via secret handshake, and some folks actually get in the spa.

A couple of years ago, I was talking to a lady.  She kept looking over my shoulder so I turned around.  There was a young woman stripping down to her bra and little thong panties.  I turned back around and talked to the lady some more.  When I looked behind me again, the young woman was in the Vanguard and some guy was stripping down fixing to climb aboard.  Another guy was videotaping.

I thought they were about to film one of those Girls Gone Crazy videos and that would not be kosher.  I hollered "Get the hell out of there, NOW!"  They did, and I watched that young woman the whole time to make sure she got dressed properly.

Well, that sorta depends on what kind of festival ya'll are having.  If it's one of those Alternative Lifestyle Appreciation festivals, I'm not alternative enough to be presentable.  Also, I've got the Great Texas Balloon Race in July where we'll be set up.

If it's something like a Liberal Flogging Festival or Bean Dip Lover's Parade, I'm all over it!

That sounds like a good time!  I saw in your profile that you were from BC and I couldn't figure out which state that is.  My best guess is Behind Costco, but I don't know which one.


I'm so ignernt.  I reread your post and it is obviously behind the Costco on Merritt Mountain.  Where is my brain lately?  I think the hamsters got it again.
