Hey Chas...

I was there for 2 days....attending classes on day 1 walking the show on day 2......interesting the difffrent makers who were at Aqua and not NSPI.....the names at Aqua....Sundance.....Marquis.....Jacuzzi.....Master....Artesian.....Caldera....were not at this show...the bigger names who were would be Cal Spas....whose booth was pure Vegas....and D-1....and than many of the flashy makers....I did not see much that impresseed other the classy look of D-1...I think a very nice spa....but pricey.....there is a great new tool for fliter cleaning that does a great job and is easy to use....

The problem with this show is that after all of the years in this business and all of the brands I've worked with I know to many people. The only way I can get through it without being stopped every 5 minuets by an old freind for a chat is to where a disguise!

I didn't even get through half of the show but what I did see here is what stood out;

Coleman’s new foot alcove was really cool and different than anything out there.

D1 made more styling changes than they have in 20 years and have given the dealers some incredible tools

Steve Hammock looks 20 years younger without his mustache

The new spa dolly trailer is wonderful and I have to get one!

Steve is not near as mean and intimidating as he sounds on the boards.

Mendocino is much more intimidating than he sounds on the boards.

The new design for Tuff Pools with the sight window rocks!

Still am very thrilled with the new covermate’s

I'm amazed at how many "copy cats" are out there.

There were more artificial rock companies than I would have ever imagined.

Cal spa is getting even more aggressive.

The Chinese market is taking over the accessory part of the industry.

Hooking up With both Steve and Stuart were the high light of the show for me...It was good to spend sometime with both of this indusrtys vets...to second Stuarts comments about the Chinese market is taking over the accessory part and to also agree that new Spa dolly is very nice...all of the colemens stuff were new to me...as most everything else.....
