Favorite spa vacuum?

Do you have a favorite spa vacuum? In general, do the siphon models work, or is it important to have power?

In case spa size matters, I have a Sundance Claremont (six seats, about 400 gallons). Also, this tub has several overhead trees, so leaves of all sizes often land in the water.

Thanks for sharing any opinions from your experience.

Quick Drain. Can be used to vacuum up debris and also to drain. No power needed.

I generally like using a clear hose and the siphoning method.

I like the clear hose idea! What hose ID size do you use? Do you have anything attached to the siphon end to widen its intake area some?

the Volt fx4 is a great product.  obviously more spendy than a piece of hose, but if this problem will recur then you'll be glad you bought it.  it is rechargeable and powerful enough for a hot tubber's needs.
