Come on Windy, venture into the scary world of triple digit water.  It only hurts for a minute.  And yes, I think mine are pickled somewhere in an old Mason jar.  lol   ;D

Triple Digits??!!  I'm afraid of scalding my tictacs! :o :o

Its more of a slow melting sensation rather than a quick scalding.
Measure once, cut twice.

I set mine at 102 - and thanks to the wonderful Tucson sunshine, that heater does not have to do alot of work.

"This does make me wonder if regular hot tub use at high temps would keep you from contracting illness
- based strictly upon regularly raising your body temp to combat the nasties"

Whenever I "feel" a cold coming on I just spend a bit more time in the hot tub. By the next day I feel fine once again....... HOWEVER, I tend to like a temp that's a wee bit higher than what has so far been posted here.

Check out hypothermia therapy (or is it hypErthermia...... I can never remember. One is hot, the other cold))

Just got over a bad cold last week, tubbing did not help.  And we keep ours at 101.

You would need to go in at at least 102, preferably 104.

Just think about what our bodies do when we get sick. Our internal temp rises (aka fever) to make your body an uncomfortable place for the invaders......
