Reduced air flow
« on: July 12, 2021, 04:31:59 pm »
So about a week ago the power and air output of the jets on the side of our hottub in our Airbnb greatly reduced to point where the rear jetsbwork fine yet hardly anything from the front ones. I checked for airlocks and have bled the pump for air locks but no change. Any ideas, could it be a problem with the impeller or bearings on the pump (doesn't sound too noisy)?

Try remove the jets and see if there is any blockage in behind. What brand and model of spa? Just did a job on a little plug and play and behind the jet was plugged up with tiny pine needles that were getting sucked in through the foot well pump return openings.

Also, in some cases you can rotate the jet face to turn the air on/off individually and sometimes someone does that in the tub and others wonder why there is no air coming out.
