Hi all,

I have a Jacuzzi J-480 2012 that I purchased used.   Was told - no issues.... well.

I fixed the first leak, but am still getting water loss - about 1/2 inch a day -    full foam so hard to find the leak.    I did try the fix a leak to no success (have used this in the past on smaller leaks with other tubs, but not for this one)

Suggestions need to locate the leak...   Anybody have success with Dye and what and how much should I use?        Food Colouring?

Next, I think I may have to tip the tub on it's side and pull off the bottom panel but thought some dye before that may help.

Thanks

Shane

I had a slow leak on my 2005 J-385. I  tried the method of plugging all the jet housings with rubber stoppers and used an air compressor to put pressure on the plumbing and listen for the air/water leak.  The pressure held, so it wasn’t the main plumbing.  I could hear a gurgling sound when the circ. pump was running.  It was actually a bad fitting on my ozone lines, which were not in use.  Plugged the ozone line and no more leak.  Let us know how you made out.
