Interested in hearing how others would approach this repair. It is a 2003 Marquis Spa "Escape". It was a removal/dump tub and I normally this time of year (-10C and no indoor working space) I would just strip it for parts and dump it but the spa was retro fitted with a 2014 Balboa pack and topside and the pumps look to be updated as well. Other than the screw poking through it's not bad shape and I have $0 dollars invested.

bad link...I assume a screw hole through the shell? if so I'd probably order a fairly standard acrylic repair kit that comes with the 'sand-able' compound...hell if you want you could order the colored kit and come up with a pretty close match to the existing shell color.

If it's only a screw hole even silicon could work depending on the location.

Sorry. How about now... https://photos.app.goo.gl/Zps73riYdqB7tVuA9

If its a decent tub I think I would use a fiberglass repair kit or epoxy repair kit. A bolt and nut with rubber washer and silicon sealant There are tons of ways to fix it.

Thanks for the reply. Were you able to open the photos using the second link?

Super cold here but should warm up a bit by Monday. Will have to get out there and open it up for a closer look on the inside. I have done a handfull of glass backed Lucite Acrylic repairs in the past but nothing in the last 8-10 years. Anybody know what the shell and backing matreials are made up of on one of these Marquis?

THX Tman... Warmed up yesterday enough to get a closer look. Found a couple of other issues one being a large bubble almost the size of a baseball that once I touched it it oozed rust and flaked right off so I decided to just strip out the pumps, pack and topside and junk the rest. Thanks for the input. On to the next one.
