Bought our first hot tub!
« on: September 15, 2019, 02:11:50 pm »
Well, after coming on here a while ago and dithering about doing more wet testing, we are glad we did and ordered our first hot tub yesterday.

We had started with choices between Hot Springs, Jacuzzi and Artesian and after wet testing the hot springs we had to discount them as not right for us. We liked the jacuzzi 235 but felt we ought to look at the Artesian too so we saw one dry (748L) and liked it. Went on holiday and did some more thinking then when we got back we decided we needed to wet test the 748.

Went to see them yesterday and wet tested the 748 and also an island spa set up similarly to the Antigua. We absolutely loved the 748 as soon as we sat in could tell it was better for us jet wise than the jacuzzi and all seats were comfortable and I didn’t float at all in the lounger.

The island spa was nice and we could tell the difference in power of the jets but it came down to budget in the end and, after chatting to the sales guy for a long time about our requirements, he said the 748 would give us everything we need. Liked the guy and company too and think they will look after us in the long term.

It was an easy decision in the end and our tub will hopefully arrive to us in the north of England in a max of 8 weeks - I cannot wait!

Thanks for your wise advice previously in testing as much as we could - well worth the time we spent looking for our perfect tub!

There is nothing like a starry (or even better, a snowy night) in a hot tub here in the North.  Enjoy, you will not regret it.
