Is there a difference in bromine tablets?

Have you found a difference in bromine tabs?

I bought a 10 Lb bucket of MaxiBrom ( 86% 1-Bromo-3-chloro-5, 5-dimethylhydantoin) for $90 but I'm thinking I should try another brand to see if I have more luck with the bromine floater getting the sanitizer level to rebound. I shouldn’t have to shock after every use with a floater.

In one article these were recommended-
In the Swim, LeisureTime, Spa Choice

Ours says Slow Dissolving which I thought was a good thing so you don’t have spikes  , but maybe we need faster acting?

If the chemical ingredients are the same and at the same percentages you should be fine.  Did you add an initial dose of sodium bromide to build a bromide bank?
