Wallet is lighter, bought the tub
« on: September 12, 2004, 08:26:29 pm »
After looking at various tubs, and dealing with total (insert favorite derogatory comment here) salesmen and sales WOMEN, we selected our spa today.

Downeast Windsor SE.  Alba shell, gray cabinet, steps, ozone, cover,  upgraded 5 yr warranty and delivery for 6000 plus tax. Gets delivered on Fri.   Was easiest  buy I ever made.  Wasnt impressed with Arctic, Hot Springs dealer didnt want to deal, Sundance - saleswoman was a joke.

DE salesman walked by, I told him I would take it for 6200. He countered with LOWER cost. The alba model had been on his floor a month and they wanted to make room for another spa.  I had looked at 7x7 spas, but wasnt going to pass up a deal on a 8x8.

Could I have gotten it even cheaper? Perhaps. Am I happy? You bet.  Now time to call the future brother in law and get him to do the wiring. Will be nice having an electrician in the family.

To those wavering on buy a spa because its a few hundred more than you want, JUST DO IT! You WONT be sorry!!!

Feels sorry for those still soaking in their bathrubs ....

Way to go newtubcpl!  I just climbed out of my tub (a quick one before work is great.)   You have many pleasant evenings (& mornings!) ahead
