Our Backyard Paradise

Hi Guys! Let me introduce myself. My name is Kasie and I am from a small little town in South Carolina. I want to tell you about my hot tub journey! Ever since I was a young child, I have wanted a hot tub, its a must any time we go on vacation. One year I had even convinced my parents that instead of going on vacation, we buy a hot tub. I searched reviews online and had found the perfect one, and then my brother broke both his arms and with no medical insurance at the time, my little dreams were crushed! LOL. Years later, now married at 23, I had a vintage camper that I bought and restored. I loved that camper, but something in me still wanted my own hot tub. So I flipped my camper that I originally purchased for $900 and sold it for a little over $4k. I'm sure you're wondering what this has to do with my story but I'm getting there, lol! Anyways I decided to set aside $1k for another project in the future and devote the other towards my dream! My hot tub!!!
Within days of selling my camper I found a Jacuzzi Brand Hot Tub. Manufactured in 1999 but still working like a charm, garage kept it's whole life for $530! I paid $100 to have it delivered! Wooooot! That was awesome, great hot tub for under $700.

After that we sat it in the car port and hooked it up. Now to think of a place for its permanent location since my husband definitely wasn't giving up his parking spot.

I got on pinterest and the ideas started flooding in! Now about 2 months since purchasing my hot tub, My husband and I have completed our backyard paradise complete with our gazebo, hot tub, custom made furniture, gravel, 4ft fire pit with field rock and old rail road ties plus a walk way with stepping stones from the house to the tub with solar lights! All in all we spent right at $3,000!

Now that its complete, I am interested in flipping hot tubs to make a little extra money on the side since I'd like to learn more about hot tubs, there mechanics and repairs since I always plan to have a hot tub now!

Attatched are some pictures of our paradise! We did everything ourselves, and now get to enjoy all the hardwork!  https://imgur.com/a/OC6Fy

Wow!!!!

It's beautiful! You and your husband are so talented! Besides creating an oasis for yourself, you just put a huge amount of equity in your property. I'm so envious. I could never create anything like that
